Description
The Glacier Hazards and Society website is designed to help distribute a bibliography, technical information, resource materials, and names of researchers and research institutions concerned with glacier-related hazards and global climate change. Glacier hazards are increasingly acute problems worldwide. The resources and bibliography are designed to foster international comparisons and interactions on topics that are usually restricted to specific regions (such as the Alps or Himalayas). It also facilitates interdisciplinary research by compiling science, social science, and humanities materials. Less
