Description
This site is designed to help students choose and prepare a science fair research project. Topics include an overview of science projects, controlled experiments, the scientific method, and reasons for planning and conducting a project. Successive pages take the user through the process of getting started, choosing a project, planning the experiment and a display for the science fair, rules and judging, and policies on the use of human subjects, animals, and pathogens and other potentially harmful agents in science fair projects. There is a gallery of photographs of prize-winning and participating science fair project displays from a Florida state science and engineering fair. A link is supplied to a page of the Society for Science and the Public site supplying forms and documents for entering the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair and for entering local and affiliated fairs.
