Description
The Science and Society Picture Library features extensive image collections from British museums, including the Science Museum, the National Railway Museum, the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television, and related collections. The Natural World page features links to images about astronomy, environmental science and technology, geology and geophysics, meteorology, natural history, navigation, the oceans and oceanography, and surveying. The collections are browseable by category and searchable by keyword. Users may download low-resolution watermarked images for evaluation or layout purposes; a small service fee is charged for use of digital images in a final product, or for loan of transparencies.
