This online directory, developed from "Scientific and Technical Acronyms, Symbols, and Abbreviations" (Wiley InterScience), lets users look up the meanings of acronyms and other short terms used in scientific works. The directory is organized alphabetically and is searchable by term, keyword, and subject. For each acronym it provides the fully spelled-out term, country of origin, and subject heading (where applicable).
