This is the homepage of the U.S. Global Research Program (USGCRP), an initiative to support research on the interactions of natural and human-induced changes in the global environment and their implications for society. Visitors can study overviews of the topics of greatest interest to the USGCRP, which include atmospheric composition, climatic variability and change, global cycles for carbon and water, ecosystems, land use/land cover, and human contributions and responses to global change.
