Description
For nearly a century, AMNH's Department of Herpetology has collected and studied reptile and amphibian species in their natural habitats. With more than 351,000 specimens representing more than half the world's species, the collection is one of the most heavily used herpetological resources in the world. The department's website includes links to information about the collections, publications, staff and information databases.
