Description

This winning entry in the Museum's Young Naturalist Awards 2005 by Daniel, a 12 year old student from Arizona, examines plant growth and water flow in a wash. His essay (with illustrations, photographs, and a reference list) details his discovery that the Pantano Wash is divided into four distinct layers.
