This winning entry in the Museum's Young Naturalist Awards 2004 by Nathan, a 17 year old studetn from Ohio, examines a road mortality survey of snakes. His narrative essay (with photographs, a map and chart, and references) discusses how he conducted his four year road mortality study in order to provide information to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources to help them make management decisions about endangered snakes.
