Description
This winning entry in the Museum's Young Naturalist Awards 2004 by Yan Hui, a 15 year old student from Texas, examines vernal pools. Her narrative essay (with photographs, illustrations, charts, and references) discusses the three categories of data she collected for the vernal pool she studied and her observations regarding the organisms which live in the pool and the effect water quality has on them.
