Professional Development on Comic Book layout and design Booklet 3
Purpose: Module 3 will guide teachers through the transfer of the manuscript to the Comic Book Canvas, which is the publishing piece of the writing process. Through a series of four training videos teachers will develop an understanding of editing, revising, proofreading, and inking a final product. Aesthetic valuing will be delivered during the module for students and teachers to focus on the use of color, design layout, and neatness. Accompanying the training videos are lesson plans to be utilized in the classroom. A 10 question assessment follows this second training module to facilitate teacher knowledge of The Manuscript Starter.
