Professional Development on the California Visual and Performing Arts Standards
Purpose: Module 4 will guide teachers on the CA Visual and Performing Arts Standards and how to integrate academic language into the classroom. Online videos will introduce teachers to the art discipline of visual arts. The five component strands of artistic perception, creative expression, historical and cultural context, aesthetic valuing, and connections, relations and applications will be delivered through direct instruction and classroom application.
