Professional Development on the integration of The Comic Experience with VAPA visual art discipline – different forms of art
Purpose: Module 9 trains teachers on how to integrate the Comic Experience with different forms of visual arts into regular classroom instruction. Online videos will focus on standards based activities for the K-3, 4-8 and 9-12 grade classrooms. Lesson plans will provide teachers with step by step, standards based integration lessons. Examples of visual art lessons could be mask making, three dimensional sculptures of setting, and book making.
