Description
NASA's Learning Technologies Project (LTP) is NASA's educational technology incubator. LTP provides interactive learning products that combine technology with content from NASA research projects and space missions. These materials use interactivity, virtual presence, and other immersive technologies together with NASA content from aerospace technology, Earth science, human space flight, biological and physical research, and space science. They include World Wind, a 3D interactive that lets users zoom in from satellite altitude to any location on Earth; the Scientific Visualization Studio (SVS), a collection of global-scale animations; MathTrax, an interactive graphing calculator; the Virtual Lab, which emulates a scanning electron microscope; What's the Difference, a compare-and-contrast tool for students; and Celestia, an interactive planetary exploration activity.
