Description
In this dynamic activity, learners build a catapult and experiment with launching projectiles to see how variations in design affect flight. This is a great way to demonstrate how stored potential energy is released and becomes kinetic energy, the energy of motion. The DID YOU KNOW section highlights ancient to modern uses of catapults from warfare to air flight.
