Description
This is a collection of issues of the monthly journal Manufacturer and Builder from 1869 to 1894, scanned from originals held by the libraries of Cornell University and the University of Michigan. This journal, published from 1869 to 1897, was a "practical journal of industrial progress" devoted to industrial and technological issues of the day. The collection, consisting of scanned images of pages, can be browsed by year or searched by keywords. The issues are part of Cornell University Library's contribution to the Making of America project, a digital library of primary sources in American social history (including history of science and technology) from the antebellum period through Reconstruction.
