This session will provide attendees ideas and tools to embed and
connect Work-Based Learning activities to classroom learning.
During the session participants will explore the various components
of the WBL continuum, learn how to embed WBL activities into
classroom instruction and explore online resources to help
integrate Work-Based Learning and increase industry engagement.The
new world of work requires educating secondary & post-secondary
students across the work-based learning spectrum. Students need
mentoring by business partners, virtual field trips providing
access to formerly inaccessible environments, and financial
literacy training. In this session, learn to offer these
opportunities while meeting time/geographical challenges using
multiple modalities.
