      Region 2 Learning Support

      The California Department of Education provides funding to support technical assistance for after school programs in each region to be administered by a local county office of education.  There are 11 Regional Leads in the state who work to ensure that after school programs meet the state requirements and run high-quality programs to support student academic and social-emotional outcomes.  Region 2 serves Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Modoc, Plumas, Shasta, Siskiyou, Tehama and Trinity counties.
