Worksheet//checklist developed for Model Standards? // Linda Elliott
Has anyone developed a checklist or worksheet that they use when teaching lessons to determine what standards are being used and the class/grade level. Since we work school site wide, I am realizing I'd like to try and track which students are getting the standards and which may be falling through the cracks.
Please share if you do.. I'll work on creating one if no one already has one.
Thanks!

Creativity in school // Anthony Doyle
Interesting article in the SF Chron:

So creativity is key yet we are moving toward more and more "functional" documents in the curriculum. Wouldn't fiction be a better way to stimulate creativity and imagination?

YES // Glen Warren
I will be doing a session at the conference on Brokers of Expertise. The hope is that TLs will understand that the current "wins" that we have has and the short term battles that we can win will be in the area of surfacing our unique expertise as teacher/professional development leads.
