In reply to Glenn's post... all of his suggestions #5-7 are addressed in the International Society for Technology in Education's NETS or National Educational Technology Standards. I propose BOE should add the NETS (for students, teachers, administrators, superintendents) in the "Standards" section as they integrate across all content areas.

Currently BOE has Information Literacy as a subset of Technology. Within the Information Literacy Section these are the current options:
1. Copyright and Plagiarism 2. Searching Strategies, 3. Evaluating Sources, 4. Citing Sources.

The the way BoE is set up it doesn't mirror the Library content standards, by breaking them up and putting them under other subject sections?
Or do we want to go with that and hammer home that library content extends into all other standards and identify them as such when we post?
