Learn

English learners at all levels of English language proficiency (Emerging, Expanding, Bridging) can use language in meaningful and relevant ways across the content areas. In integrated ELD, the CA ELD Standards are used in tandem with the CA CCSS for ELA/Literacy and other content standards.

  1. The ways in which the instructional practices you observe support language and literacy development for English learners.
  2. How the teacher might use the CA ELD Standards as a guide to provide appropriate levels of scaffolding for English learners at different English language proficiency levels.
