A major concern in working with standards is the idea that all students must respond and achieve in the same way. As educators we know this is impossible; but how do we teach to standards with the understanding that each student is an individual? This video from Jan Burkins and Kim Yaris, offers a light-hearted, but valuable exploration of this question.
