Step 2: Collaborate with Stakeholders

It is critical to the success of the school to identify your stakeholder groups and find ways to seek their input throughout the entire process of starting a Blended Model program. Giving them a measure of control over some of the decisions will help stakeholders develop a sense of ownership in the school even before the doors open. The importance of their buy-in cannot be overstated. They will support and help you “sell” the concept of a Blended Model program to a community that may view this new venture with skepticism.
