1.0 Creativity and Innovation Students demonstrate creative thinking, construct knowledge, and develop innovative products and processes using technology.

Students will create a word/picture bank of all things made of paper. They will glue on types of paper ie. newspaper, paperplate, napkin, tissue, etc.
|
Students will sort objects made of wood, paper, plastic, metal, and cloth.
|
Students will compare and contrast the properties of cloth and paper with a t-chart. Do they fold, tear, and crumple?
|
Students will cut paper and make a paper chain as long as they are tall. They will need to bend paper.
|
Students will make art from paper ie. tear art apples, paper bag puppets,cards, etc.
|
Students will make a clay pot with earthen clay and an animal out of modeling clay.

Students will retell how to make paper on a photostory made by the teacher based on pictures of the children making paper in the classroom. |
