LEARNING OBJECTIVES FOR UNIT 4
- You will be able to describe why, to be successful
in mathematics, all students need to model and use tools. - You will be able to explain what it means for students
to model with mathematics. - You will be able to explain what it means for students to
use appropriate tools strategically.
This unit examines MP4 and MP5; the practices relating to modeling with mathematics and using tools. You will deepen your understanding of the various aspects of each standard as you work through this unit.
