4.6.2 Lesson Ideas in Technical Subjects for Standards 4, 5, and 6
There are many ways to design instruction to support developing writing skills and provide multiple opportunities for students to develop these writing competencies within the technical subjects.
Students in technical subjects must be able to write using the written word and within the specific discipline-specific language, notation, or symbol systems. Additionally, students must also be able to combine both the written word with the discipline-specific systems to inform or explain to the reader.
