Appendix B of the CCSS for ELA/Literacy provides example texts and sample performance tasks aligned to the grade-level complexity bands.
Download Appendix B: Text Exemplars and Sample Performance Tasks. Use the table of contents to find and read the sample texts for either “Drama” or “Informational Texts: Science, Mathematics, and Technical Subjects” for your grade band before responding to the reflection questions that follow.
