48 sheets of construction paper, paper plates, notebook paper (or) large note cards (any will work).

1 or 2 master "safe-path" maps of your design, or printable here .

1 Bike horn or other annoying noisemaker (optional)

Setup
Arrange the 48 squares in a grid with a 6-column, 8-row profile. Space each square 6 to 12 inches apart. Ask your students to stand at one end of the grid to begin. Have your master "safe-path" map ready and look over it before you start.
